This was such a sweet book! If you can suspend your disbelief a bit about how witty all these 13-year-olds are, sometimes it’s just nice to read a nice book with nice people. The slow build to the romance was very cute and, like with any good middle-grade book, it’s the fun friendships that make it the best. Ingrid’s friendships with Lorren and Traveler are both so cute and endearing! The knitting, the favorite book that appears at just the right moment in your life (lord knows I’ve had those)… Bye Forever, I Guess was a great cozy read.
